"WID WINNER"

JAMES SHELDON

James Sheldon seemed destined to pursue a life in entertainment.  His earliest memories of the professional pursuit came when he could barely string a few sentences together.  They were marked by failed attempts of tearing the covers off of speakers to find the singers inside, and crawling into TVs to join the cast of Sesame Street.

A couple decades later, James found a more acceptable avenue toward the profession through a handful of happy accidents. An artistic jock, and a college student, he was majoring in anthropology, planning to coach professionally—4 years later he was touring in West Side Story out of New York City. Also an accomplished singer and dancer, acting in film has always been his most passionate professional pursuit.

James was nominated for BEST ACTOR at the 2012 Derby City Film Festival for his role in "Wid Winner & the Slipstream."

--- Alexander Wright on his experience with "Wid Winner & the Slipstream": "I have to say that being a part of “Wid Winner & the Slipstream” is an enormous pleasure and an experience that an actor can only hope to find at least once in his lifetime. My thanks go out to all …to Alex Gaynor, of course, whose writing, directing, personal investment and inspiration is the wellspring from which all things Wid-like spring. To my partners in scene-crime James and Erin, many thanks for the good times so far, and to the stalwart and dedicated crew…Wow, twelve hour days in the rain without a whimper or a whine. I bow down to your courage and dedication. Thank you.  Onwards and forwards into the Slipstream we venture!"

These nominations include:

*Best Supporting Actor - 2010 Method Fest Film Festival

*Best Supporting Performance - 2010 Orlando Film Festival

"LUCY"

ERIN ALLIN O'REILLY

Erin O'Reilly was born and raised in Wellesley MA, but prefers to tell people she's from Boston or more specifically Dorchester for the street cred. Growing up with two brothers and a gang of male cousins, you'd imagine she’d be inclined to assume somewhat of a tomboyish persona...AND she did, but with a flare for the dramatic.

And here we are, Erin earned her Bachelor's in Theater and English at Boston College. In Boston she has been seen as Nina in “The Seagull”, Agnes in “Agnes of God”, Germaine in “Picasso at the Lapin Agile”, Kate Quin in “Uncommon Women” and Lady Nijo in “Top Girls” to mention a few. She then set off for a brief stint in New York, where she studied at the Neighborhood Playhouse and was seen in "Lovers and Other Strangers" and an original production of "The Ice Queen Cometh". After completing her first independent feature film "Walter Frumm" in New York she winged her way out to the west coast and much to her surprise and delight felt quite at home. She had a recurring role on NBC's Heroes as Gail Bowman and has also recurred as Cheryl on CBS's The Big Bang Theory. Among other things she has appeared on: Dumb & Dumber To

Without a Trace, NCIS, Grey's Anatomy, and over 35 national commercials.

Her time in Kentucky “with the awe inspiring and ‘oh! SO much fun’ cast and crew of Wid was certainly a most magical, soul-feeding, filmmaking romp! What a wonderful adventure!”
